The winners from the qualification round will compete for the title

in the Grand Finale that will be held at

Boudhanath, Kathmandu, amidst a light festibal

on Jan, 3th, 4th and 5th, 2013

Dance contest Application Guidelines:

• Participants should submit theirparticipation forms within the entry date at the nearest centre for form submission.
• Students and children upto the age of 16 can participate.
• There's no specific dance genre or category for eligibility. Participators are free to perform in any genre.
• Both single and group dancers with upto 10 members per group can participate.
• Multiple groups from the same school can also enter the competition.
• Children from foster homes can participate.
• Participants are required to bring reusable plastic products like: Plastic bottle cap, noddles pack, plastic glass, plate etc.
• Each individual participant or group will have a maximum time of 5 minutes to deliver their performance.
• The CDs and cassette tapes should be brought by the participants.

Prizes:

The prize distribution will be as follows:
1st Prize: NPR 1 Lakh worth of scholarship
1st Runner-up: Rs. 50,000 worth of scholarship
Special Awards: Rs. 10,000 eacg for six teams

Awards:

School oilfield caravan dance trophy, medals and other stationery items.

Judgement criteria:

Judgement will be based on the performance, the weight of collected plastic items and pet bottle caps voting.

Qualification Rounds :

 The qualification rounds will be held in Pokhara, Lumbini, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu.

Grand Finale:

The All Nation Grand finale will be held in Bouddhanath, Kathmandu. The winners from the qualification round will participate in Tittle on Light-up festival

Other Specifications:

• Selected Participants will be notified by telephone. A newspaper announcement will also be made with the names of the selected participators and their corresponding schools.
• Contestants from outside the Kathmandu valley will be provided with lodging, fooding and transportation facilities. These will be provided to each of the participants and a guardian from their team.
• The organizers of SCHOOL OILFIELD CARAVAN DANCE CONTEST will have rights to all the videos and photos shot during the competition.
